Buchanan Dam, TXLake Area Animal Clinic

Lake Area Animal Clinic is a well-established clinic that has been operating since 1972, but started as Kothman Animal Clinic under the ownership of Dr. Victor Kothman from Mason, Texas. Later on, in 1981, Dr. George Lilliard moved to Buchanan Dam from the Rio Grande Valley and purchased the clinic, changing its name to Lake Area Animal Clinic. During his tenure as a solo practitioner, he received part-time help from Dr. Mary Muhlegger and Dr. Mike Kelley.

Dr. Scott Pollard moved here from Seguin, Texas and joined the practice in April, 1996. He formed a partnership with Dr. Lillard in 1997.

Dr. Eric Terrell joined the practice as an associate from 2003 t0 2004 after relocating from Wharton, Texas.

In 2006, Dr. Mike Culpepper moved to Llano from Spring, Texas, and joined the practice as an associate.

Dr. Lillard retired in 2008 and Dr. Pollard & formed a new partnership.

Dr. Polly Wilde joined the practice in 2008 after spending 2 years in Marble Falls and continues to practice here today.
